Mixed retail street in the process of transition with the type and quality of tenants changing. It has Co-op, Iceland, Greggs & Ryman as major brands and a Pret a Manger on the corner of Waterloo Road. Symptomatic of this change is the development of the Ruby Hotel, together with the numerous independent coffee shops which have sprung up in the street.
